The History
In the 18th century the Panzironi Studio was established in Florence.
The origins of Botti Studio can be placed some time in the 17th century in Agropoli Italy.
In the 19th century both families emigrated to America, settling in New York City.
Italo Botti was born in 1923. He was a hero in WWII, he took part in the invasion of Normandy, and recieved 5 Bronze Stars.
Ethilyn Panzironi was born in 1929. She was an artist to the stars, working for MGM studios painting portraits of the studios catalogue of stars.
in 1960, they married and merged their studios under the Botti Studio of Arhitectural Arts banner.
They had two sons, Domonick and Ettore. They moved to Evanston Illinois and established their studio and gallery on Grove Street... and the rest is history.
Botti Studio of Architectural Arts is a nationally recognized company headquartered in Evanston, Illinois with additional offices and design facilities in New York City, La Porte, Indiana, Sarasota, Florida, San Diego, California, Agropoli, Italy and Nassau, Bahamas. The Company maintains nearly 40,000 square feet of studio space in Evanston, Illinois and La Porte, Indiana. The Botti Studio team includes over 40 full time craftspeople, technicians and conservators.
