Conservation and restoration of historical artwork requires a degree of experience and understanding which is achieved through decades of involvement with the materials and techniques of the past masters of the arts.  Botti Studio’s staff of artists and crafts persons have, through involvement in numerous historically sensitive conservation/ restoration projects been exposed to a myriad array of materials and techniques. 

Botti Studio employs the latest techniques and materials to perform conservation/restoration which is sensitive to the historical nature, respectful of the original artist intention and is non-destructive and fully reversible though structurally sound.

As part of every conservation/restoration project, Botti Studio develops documentation which is designed to serve as a historic record of existing conditions as well as to document present day changes and work executed.
